Back in the throes of the family business, Rockliff Seafoods, in Mooloolaba.

Those in family businesses (and especially fishing where there’s no such thing as weekends or public holidays!) know it’s a 24/7 job, with my mum, dad and all three brothers involved!

Taking a step back a few years ago taught me the importance of self care and mental health, while focusing on my four beautiful children.

Don’t get me wrong, I live and breathe seafood! It just took a while to prioritise and set boundaries – it’s still a work in progress, some might say! 😂

But…

Being one of the third generation of Rockliffs in the seafood industry, it appears the fishing gene still pumps through these veins, so I couldn’t stay away!

Being a previous APN newspaper journalist and editor, heading into marketing, public liaison and governance is the perfect fit for me, and the family!
